The RFID reader is a card reader specially created for the identification of drivers. The security cards already used in your company can also be used to authenticate drivers on vehicles.
How does an RFID reader work?
This product shows you who and when the vehicle was used. It also offers the possibility of blocking the vehicle’s engine and informing by means of a light or acoustic signal about the failure of authentication.
RFID methods use radio waves to accomplish this. At a simple level, RFID systems consist of three components: an RFID / smart tag, an RFID reader, and an antenna. RFID tags contain an integrated circuit and an antenna, which are used to transmit data to the RFID (also called an interrogator).
The reader then converts the radio waves into a more usable form of data. The information collected from the tags is then transferred via a communications interface to a CargoTrack platform, where it is stored in a database and subsequently analyzed.
